How to Airdrop tokens on AVAX without coding in 3 steps

Want to send tokens to multiple wallets on Avalanche? Here’s how to do it in 3 simple steps, quickly and securely.

Multisend, bulksend, and airdrop all refer to the same thing: distributing ARC-20 tokens to multiple wallets, typically for marketing purposes.

All you need is the wallet you used to create the tokens and the wallet addresses you want to send them to. Let’s get into it.

How to Do a airdrop on AVAX: Step by Step

To run a airdrop on Avalanche, we’ll use Smithii’s tools. First, head over to the Multisender for Smithii, where you’ll find an interface like this:

How to bulksend avalanche tokens

Follow these steps to make sure your airdrop goes through without a hitch:

  1. Select the token you want to send: Connect your wallet to see the Avalanche tokens available for the airdrop. IMPORTANT: Make sure you use the wallet authority of the token for the airdrop, otherwise it won’t work.
  2. Add wallet addresses: Enter the wallet addresses you want to send tokens to. You can add them manually or upload a CSV file if you have a lot.
  3. Set the token amount to send: Define how many tokens to send to each wallet. Whatever number you enter will be distributed equally across all the addresses you’ve added.

That’s it! Just hit “perform airdrop” and the tool takes it from there, sending tokens to every wallet you selected.

Cost of a airdrop on Avalanche

The cost is calculated based on the number of wallets and the amount of tokens you send. A set formula determines the cost per wallet: in this case, 0.0001 AVAX per wallet, plus gas fees. Make sure you have enough AVAX to cover the airdrop costs.

How to Get Wallet Addresses for a airdrop

A solid approach is to run a snapshot of a token with a community relevant to your project. This generates a CSV file you can load directly into the Multisender, saving you time and effort.

Conclusion

We just walked through how to run a airdrop on Avalanche with no coding required. Three steps: pick the token, load the wallet addresses, and set the amount to send.
