Create Solana Token Staking Dapp: Your own Staking site
To launch Staking on Solana you need a Developer, or so they tell you. The truth is you can build your own Staking dApp completely for free. In this post I’ll walk you through how to do it using Token Staking Builder.
And not only that, you’ll have it ready in just 5 minutes. Yes, you can reward your community with no code and no cost. Let’s jump straight into the step-by-step.
By the way, if you’re more of a video person, here’s the tutorial in your preferred format:
Create Solana Token Staking dApp
With our builder you can set up your own staking for any token on Solana. First, head over to the Staking Creator for Solana Tokens (https://stake.smithii.io/) and click “Create now”.
Step 1. Access the Solana Token Staking Builder:
After clicking “Create now”, enter an email address to create your account and hit “Create”.

Next, fill in your staking details: “Your Name” and “Project Name” to identify your staking, and “Staking URL” to customize the shareable link of your staking page.
Heads up: in the Staking URL field you only enter the slug, meaning what goes after the /. For example, if you type “My Staking Project”, the final URL will be: https://stake.smithii.io/my-staking-project. As you can see, URL syntax doesn’t keep uppercase letters or spaces.
Then, click “Select Wallet” and connect the wallet that holds the staking token and the reward token, then hit “Continue”.

Step 2. Build Your Own Solana Token Staking Website:
Once inside the builder, you’ll land on an interface packed with customization options.
You’ll see a panel with options to tweak colors, logo, background, menu (navigation), on chain setup (the actual staking configuration), and upgrade your plan. The last one unlocks premium features like custom logo and background, among other things.

At the bottom of the interface you’ll get a live preview of the color changes as you interact with them.

By editing the “Navigation” options you can customize the menu of your Solana Token Staking Site, where URL is the destination you’ll send your users to and “Tag” is the text shown. You can also add your project’s social links.

On-chain setup
This is basically where the magic happens for your Solana Token Staking dApp. Here you’ll add the two types of tokens you need: the staking tokens and the reward tokens. They don’t have to be the same, you can power the staking with one token and pay rewards in a completely different one.
The wallet you connected will be set as the “Authority Wallet” of the staking, and that property is immutable. You’ll find the following options, which I’ll break down next:
Staking Token: The token your users will need to lock up to earn rewards. This is your project’s token, which can be a standard token or a meme coin. If you want to know how to create your own meme coin on Solana, here’s our guide.
Reward Token: The token you’ll use to reward your users. It can be the same as the staking one or a different and attractive token like $USDC, $SOL, $WIF, $BONK, etc. This depends on your strategy and how you want to incentivize investors to stake your own token on Solana.
Reward Token Amount to Deposit: Basically the reward pool. Enter the amount of Reward Token for that pool. Users will get paid out of it for their staking.
Add Extra Fee: This is a really useful customization option for the premium plan. On the free option, the Staking Builder on Solana you’re using keeps a 0.008 SOL fee per staking, while on the premium plan the fee drops to 0.002 SOL and you can add an extra fee on top that goes straight to you.
Reward Token Quantity per Day: This is the amount of “Reward Token” paid out for each “Staking Token” per day. This setting depends entirely on your strategy.
Minimum Stake Amount: The minimum number of tokens a user has to stake in order to join the reward pool.
Lock Time (minimum staking days): The minimum period the tokens have to stay locked in the staking before users can claim their rewards.
On the premium version you can create more than one reward pool, giving the dev a lot more flexibility.
Step 3. Deploy Your Own Solana Token Staking dApp
Once we’re done customizing the Staking for our own Token on Solana, we’re ready to click “Deploy”. This works as if we were creating our own Staking smart contract on Solana.
We’ll preview the info for the authority wallet, our staking token, and the rewards token. We can review and edit before moving forward. Once we’re sure, we click “Continue”.

After that, we’ll see the payment info. Don’t worry, if you stuck with the free options on the basic plan, you won’t be charged anything.
Click “Finish”, approve the blockchain transactions and that’s it, your own Solana Token Staking site is live.

Conclusion
The Solana Token Staking Builder from Smithii is a game-changing platform for token project owners who want to step into the DeFi world on Solana, without sky-high coding costs and without messy developer hires. Anyone can build a website to stake their token in just a few steps, for free.
It’s simple, customizable, and most importantly, effective at managing and incentivizing token retention.
Whether you’re looking to build a Solana token staking website for your project or just want to explore what’s possible, Smithii Staking is worth it.
