How to add funds to my Phantom wallet: Step by step
To start using the Solana network, you only need two things: 1) create a wallet on solana and 2) have funds in it. Without that, you won’t be able to make any transaction.
Phantom is the most widely used wallet for Solana. In this quick guide, I’ll show you how to add funds to your wallet on Solana.
How to add funds to Phantom with fiat money
If you want to add funds to your wallet phantom using fiat money (dollars, yuan, lira, etc.), you can do it through an onramp.
For that, we use the Jupiter onramp, which lets you choose any currency to enter the solana network.

Once you choose your currency, Jupiter will show you the available payment options so you can pick the one that works best for you.
How to add Solana funds to Phantom from another blockchain
If you want to add funds from another blockchain (such as ethereum, base, polygon, etc.), you can do it through Phantom’s native Bridge.
To do that, first make sure every blockchain you need is enabled in your Phantom.

Once it is ready, go to “swap” in Phantom (the middle button) and choose the network you want to bridge from.

Then choose how much you want to move into Solana from the other blockchain and approve the transaction.
Heads up: bridges often take several minutes, so do not panic if the funds do not show up instantly.
