rug pull एक crypto scam है, जिसमें project के developers पहले investment attract करते हैं, फिर अचानक liquidity drain कर देते हैं या अपने tokens dump कर देते हैं। बाकी holders के पास लगभग बेकार assets रह जाते हैं।
Rug Pull कैसे होता है
इसका typical pattern एक नए token से शुरू होता है: team इसे minimal investment से बनाती है, buyers attract करने और price बढ़ाने के लिए social promotion चलाती है, फिर अपना पूरा allocation बेचकर या एक ही transaction में liquidity pool withdraw करके exit कर लेती है। Solana पर यह अक्सर launchpad platforms पर देखा जाता है, जहाँ कोई भी बिना verification के तुरंत token list कर सकता है। इसीलिए meme coin rug pulls वहाँ खासतौर पर आम हैं।
Hard Rug और Slow Rug में फर्क
Hard rug तुरंत होता है: developer एक ही action में liquidity drain कर देता है या treasury funds transfer कर देता है, और token का price एकदम से collapse हो जाता है। Slow rug धीरे-धीरे होता है: team days या weeks में चुपचाप अपना allocation बेचती रहती है, लेकिन ऊपर से project active दिखता रहता है। Slow rugs पकड़ना मुश्किल होता है क्योंकि price में गिरावट ordinary market movement जैसी लग सकती है, deliberate exit जैसी नहीं।
अपना Risk कम कैसे करें
कोई नया token खरीदने से पहले, देखें कि team का allocation vesting schedule या lock के अंदर है या नहीं। liquidity pool को check करें: अगर उसका ज़्यादातर हिस्सा एक single wallet remove कर सकता है, तो यह बड़ा red flag है। यह भी verify करें कि contract में कोई mint function तो नहीं है जो supply inflate कर सके। Doxxed teams और third-party audits वाले projects में rug pull risk कम होता है, हालाँकि शून्य नहीं।
