If you've created an ERC20 token, you'll likely want to add an image or logo and social media links, along with other information that you can edit. This will make your token more token and appealing to investors.

You must have what you are going to need:

  • Access to the wallet to create the ERC20 token.
  • Contract address of token whose information is to be edited.
  • Login to the lock explorer where the token is hosted, in this case etherscan.io.
  • Perform the "Exact Match Verified" of the token's contract address in the lock explorer.
  • Complete the token"Verify Address Ownership" process.
  • Fill out the official form to customize the details of the token.

Step 1: Perform "Exact Match Verified" on ETHerscan.io

The information you want to add will be audited by the etherscan.io support team, and you will even be able to update existing information, subject to approval.
