Base Token Launcher: Launch a token on Base without coding
Tokens on the Base L2 network come with major improvements in security and gas pricing. Still, there are not many tools that let you launch a token on Base, and even fewer that let you do it without coding.
That is why I want to walk you through everything you need before a solid token launch.
I’ll show you how to create the token, add social media links and a logo so it looks professional, and then explain how to run a airdrop across multiple wallets. All without coding.
Let’s go step by step.
How to Create a Token on Base
The first thing you need to create a token without coding is a tool that handles it for you. That’s where Base Token Creator by Smithii comes in. From there, we can get started.

After connecting your wallet, follow these steps:
- Name and symbol: Enter the name and symbol you want for your token. Keep in mind the symbol has an 8-character limit.
- Supply: Set how many token you want to create in this transaction. They will appear in your Wallet afterward.
- Create Token: approve the transaction and wait for your token to appear in your wallet.
There are a few other options worth mentioning.
With Tax, you can choose the fee you keep from each transaction involving your token and set the wallet address that will receive those transaction fees.
When you enable “Airdrop Mode”, users will not be able to send or trade your token until you turn it off.
With Anti Bot, you can limit what snipers and bots can do to your token’s liquidity pool, since it restricts how much time can pass between transactions per wallet. If you want a deeper look at how to handle bots, check out this post
Anti Whale is a standout feature that prevents pump and dump of the token by limiting large transactions and setting a minimum time between two transactions from the same wallet.
How to Add Social Media Links and a Logo
This is key if you want investors to take your token seriously. Without a logo or social links, any token can be accused of being a rug pull.
You only need 3 steps to do it:
1. Exact Match Verified: Go to basescan.org with the wallet you used to create the token and verify the contract address. In short, confirm that the token belongs to you.

2. Verify Address Ownership: Open the “My Verified Address” section in your profile and prove that you own the token.
3. Add Logo and Links: Once everything is verified, you can upload a logo and add links to your social profiles, website, and more. That makes your token look more trustworthy and professional.
Adding a logo and a few links to your token does more than make it look cleaner. It also helps investors trust it and feel more comfortable buying. For a more detailed walkthrough, check out our post.
How to Create airdrop from token on Base
Once your token is created and has a logo, it’s time to run a airdrop so you can launch properly and get the word out.
Once again, we’ll use our Smithii tool to do it without writing code.
To do that, open the Base Multisender from Smithii with your CSV ready.

After connecting your wallet, follow these steps:
- Select the token you just created
- Enter the number of tokens you’ll send to each wallet.
- Upload the CSV with the addresses, or add them manually.
- Click Start Airdrop and approve the transaction.
In a few seconds, the airdrop will be sent to every wallet, and you will have taken your first steps before launching your liquidity pool.
Conclusion
A logo and social media links give you credibility. Running an airdrop gives you reach. If you followed all these steps, you likely already have a pretty serious token. Now it is time to launch your liquidity pool on Base.
