How to Create a Liquidity Pool on PumpSwap: Step-by-Step
PumpSwap has rapidly grown since its launch at the end of March 2025. As the DEX for meme coins created by Pump.Fun, its growing popularity is no surprise. That’s why you need to learn how to create a liquidity pool on PumpSwap, as few platforms see this much traffic.
Before we start, there are two ways to have a Liquidity Pool on PumpSwap: having an SPL token and adding an LP manually, or graduating your token from Pump Fun. Either method is valid and we’ll show you step-by-step how to do it below.

Don’t have a token yet? In this article, we explain how to create a Solana token.
Create Liquidity Pool on PumpSwap Step-by-Step
To create a new liquidity pool on PumpSwap, you’ll need two things: an already created SPL token and funds to add liquidity (either in SOL, USDT, or USDC). First, you need to go to the PumpSwap page, where we will start creating a liquidity pool with any token. From there, follow these steps:

- Click on “Create”: this starts the process to create a liquidity pool on PumpSwap.
- Select the “Quote Token” or value pair: the top one is what will be used to exchange for your meme coin. Generally, SOL, USDT, or USDC are used.
- Press “Select Token” and paste the Token Address: when you click select token, a window will open. Paste the Address and choose your meme coin.
- Choose the initial liquidity and how many tokens to allocate to the liquidity pool: typically, between 75% and 80% of the total supply is allocated.
- Press “Create Pool”, approve the transaction in your wallet, and your token will be visible on PumpSwap.
How Much Liquidity Should I Add to My PumpSwap Liquidity Pool?
The smaller the initial liquidity pool, the more volatile your meme coin will be. On the other hand, if you start a liquidity reserve with 5-10 SOL, your coin will be more stable, and more people will be interested in buying it.
There is no specific, minimum, or recommended amount. However, the more liquidity you have, the greater your project’s chances of success.
We recommend using the PumpSwap Bundle to protect against sniper bots. This way, you can immediately buy a certain amount of tokens when you make the LP public.
Create a Liquidity Pool on PumpSwap Without Spending Money
There is another way to create a liquidity pool on PumpSwap without spending money on liquidity. This is actually one of the most attractive features of the parent platform, Pump.Fun. Here’s how it works:

- Create a meme coin on Pump Fun with potential (you can use the Pump Fun Bundler for this).
- Attract a large number of investors to buy the coin.
- Achieve a market cap to “graduate” to PumpSwap (that is, surpass the bonding curve of approximately 60 SOL).
This way, your meme coin will be transferred to PumpSwap and the liquidity gained in the bonding curve will be the initial amount for your pair in the liquidity pool. Although it’s simple to explain in three steps, very few projects actually complete this process.
You’ll need a strong community for support, as well as the ability to promote the token effectively. If you choose to go this route, we recommend using Smithii’s Pump.fun Volume bot.
You can also create a liquidity pool on Raydium without coding.
I Have a Liquidity Pool on PumpSwap, What’s Next?
Using either method, once you have created a liquidity pool, it’s time to boost your pair using the PumpSwap volume bot. This will simulate transaction volume so that others see the activity generated by your meme coin and also participate.
Moreover, if you already have the token in one or more wallets, you can plan a coordinated bundle sell for periodic profits. For this, open the bundle sell, add your meme coin’s token address, include the private keys of the wallets holding the meme coin, and press Bundle Sell.

Conclusion
You have two ways to create a liquidity pool on PumpSwap: manually on their platform or graduating your meme coin from Pump.Fun. Which path you choose depends entirely on your intentions and goals, but either way will allow you to list your token on this DEX.
