HOW TO LIST NFT MAGIC EDEN COLLECTION IN 3 STEPS
If you have created or are going to create your NFT collection, you should list it in Magic Eden, as it will be key to its growth due to the thousands of daily active users.
If you prefer the video version you can go directly to Youtube:
Remember that listing our collection does not directly create our NFTs on the blockchain, but we must mint them. If you want to mint your collection in Magic Eden, you will have to be accepted in the Magic Eden Launchpad.
Therefore we can make the listing pre-mint (although it will not be available in the marketplace until we mint and send Magic Eden the "Hash List") or post-mint (our collection will be for sale if we are accepted).
At the end of the day, it is just another showcase to attract more investors and grow. Before we start with the step-by-step tutorial about how to list your NFT collection in Magic Eden, let's look at some importantconcepts. Let's get started!
WHAT IS MAGIC EDEN
Magic Eden is one of the most significant marketplaces in the NFT sector. Although it supports NFT collections from several blockchains, Solana is their most vital one and where they have the largest market share.
In addition to being a Marketplace, Magic Eden also has a launchpad, a calendar of upcoming collections, auctions, instantsales, etc.
what does listing nfts in magic eden mean?
Listing our collection in a marketplace, which could be Magic Eden or any other, means allowing the holders of the collection to put their NFTs for sale in that marketplace, so other users can buy them.
This will also allow us to receive royalties on our collection's purchase and sale transactions.
HOW MUCH IT COSTS TO LIST NFT IN MAGIC EDEN
Before we get into the process in depth, we should clarify how much it costs to list an NFT collection in Magic Eden.
The answer is simple, listing our NFTs on Magic Eden is free, we pay nothing. Magic Eden receives a percentage of each transaction in the sale and purchase. Currently, this percentage is 1.5%.
HOW LONG DOES MAGIC EDEN TAKE TO REVIEW OUR LISTING?
The time is variable and depends on the demand at the time. They tell us between 48 and 72 hours, but in our experience, in 24 hours, they usually have reviewed our listing or changes.
This does not imply they will accept them, as they may reject us; we will see the options later.
WHAT DO I NEED TO LIST COLLECTION IN MAGIC EDEN
You won't need much, just to be clear about the definitive information of your collection, the hash listif you have already minted (we explain below how to get it), 100 followers on Twitter, and 5minutes for us to explain how to do it!
In any case, we explain how to get the information we are asked for in the process, so you don't have to worry about it.
WHY LIST NFT COLLECTION IN MAGIC EDEN
There are plenty of reasons to list our NFT collection on Magic Eden. Having our collection in the marketplace will give us visibility, help the trading of our collection, and generate royalties. These are the reasons if you have already minted your collection.
But if you have not yet minted, you will have even more, since in addition to those mentioned above, you can add the list in the "Drop Calendar" section, and as soon as you mint, we will only have to add the hash list to have our NFTs verified in the marketplace.
Although you should know that if your NFT collection on Solana is created with Metaplex standard, it will automatically be available in all marketplaces (Magic Eden, Opensea, Hyperspace, etc.), but it will not be verified. But If we list our collection in Magic Eden it will be verified.
HOW TO VERIFY NFT COLLECTION IN MAGIC EDEN
If your collection is on Magic Eden but does not appear in the search engine and does not have its own URL, it is because it has not been verified.
To verify it, you will have to do the same process that we are going to explain now on how to list your collection in Magic Eden, following, of course the tutorial as a project that you have already minted.

HOW TO LIST NFT MAGIC EDEN COLLECTION
We start directly with listing our NFTs in Magic Eden from their magiceden.io website.
1. ACCESS THE MAGIC EDEN CREATORS HUB
To start, open the "Creators" section in the left menu and click "Apply for Listing".
This will open the Magic Eden Creators Hub—the panel for NFT creators, where we can log in and list the collection. To log in, enter your email address and click on the "Log in to creators" button in the email that will be sent to you.
Within the Creators Hub,, you should also be aware of several sections.
1.1. DRAFTS - CREATORS HUB
The draft section is where the applications we have started but have not completed are saved, thus creating a draft that we can access and finish later.
1.2. SUBMISSIONS - CREATORS HUB
In submissions section, we will see the applications we have made but have not yet been reviewed by the Magic Eden team.
Once reviewed, you will move on to one of the following sections.
1.3. REVIEWED - CREATORS HUB
If our collection is in the reviewed section, the Magic Eden team has reviewed our request (pre-mint) and accepted it. But it is not yet listed because we have not minted (Magic Eden understands this when we do not add the hash list to our request), so it remains as pre-approved.
Once we have done the mint and have our hash list, we can go back to add it and we will automatically have our collection listed.
1.4. LISTED - CREATORS HUB
If your project is here, you can rest assured. Magic Eden has reviewed your project, accepted it and is now available in the marketplace.
1.5. REJECTED - CREATORS HUB
You don't want to be in the Rejected section, and our application will appear there when Magic Eden rejects us. Don't worry though; you can reapply by making the appropriate changes.
2. ADD NFT COLLECTION INFORMATION
Within the Creators Hub, we should start "creating the NFT collection" for the listing. We do this by clicking the "Create a New Collection" button.
A new page will open with the different steps and necessary information; let's start.
2.1. INTRODUCTION - APPLY FOR LISTING
In the first section, called "introduction" we must indicate which blockchain our collection belongs to; currently Magic Eden supports the Solana collection list, as other blockchains it has are automatically listed.
We must also select if we are the authors of the artwork in the collection or have the license to use it.
After this, two paths are opened; if we have not minted, we can continue ignoring the next step. But if we have already minted you can complete the listing automatically as long as our collection follows Metaplex standards.
If you have any doubts follow the steps in point 2.1.1 to verify it. If not, click the "Let's Go" button at the bottom.
2.1.1. MY COLLECTION FOLLOWS METAPLEX STANDARDS
If you have already minted, it is effortless to check if we follow the metaplex standards, and if so, get the verified address to complete the listing.
We need to open the solscan of one of the NFTs in our collection (we can do this by clicking on the three dots at the top right when we see the NFT in our wallet).
Copy the address that appears to the right of "Token Adress" and paste it into the search bar of Solana Explorer.
If our collection follows the Metaplex standards, we will see the "Verified Collection Address" section, which we must copy and paste into the "Collection Standard NFT" section in Magic Eden (we will see it if we activate the toggle that says "Does your collection adopt the Metaplex Certified Collections Standard?").
If you don't see this section, don't worry, you can list your collection by following the tutorial.
2.2. COLLECTION - APPLY FOR LISTING
In this section, we only have to indicate the Name of the Collection and the symbol.
The symbol is the term that will appear in the URL of our collection in the marketplace; if we put "SMITHII", the URL would be: magiceden.io/marketplace/SMITHII.
We continue after clicking on "Save & Proceed".
2.3. DETAILS - APPLY FOR LISTING
We continue to provide more information about our collection. In this case, we will indicate the description that will appear on the collection page (we recommend something brief but that let it clear what your NFT collection is about).
Next is the profile picture. Make it as eye-catching as possible; using the image of an NFT from your collection can be a good idea if you don't have a logo.
Next, select whether your artwork is a derivative of any other existing NFT collection or not.
We continue with the collection category, currently, this is quite irrelevant.
And to finish this section, we have to mention the social networks. We must link our Twitter account, which must have at least 100 followers, indicate the link to our discord and a webpage if we have one (it is highly recommended).
2.3. HASH LIST - APPLY FOR LISTING
We continue with the last part of the tutorial. We will see it as a complete step because of its length.
3. HASH LIST OF THE NFT COLLECTION
In this case, two options are open to us; if we are in a pre-mint or post-mint phase. That is to say, if we are going to have our project reviewed before sending the hash list when we make our mint or if we are going to list the collection for sale.
After discussing them, we explain how to get the hash list of your NFTs.
3.1. REVIEW (PRE-MINT)
If what we want is that them to make a review of our project and leave it in a "pre-approval" phase until we mint, we must choose this option. In this case, we must simply indicate the supply of our collection and the estimated date of mint (highly recommended, as we will appear in the upcoming drops section of the marketplace).
3.2. LISTING NOW (ALREADY MINTED)
If we have already finished our mint we will select the "Listing now" option to complete the creation of our NFT in Magic Eden.
Therefore we only have to indicate the supply and paste the hash list/mint list of our collection.
3.3. HOW TO OBTAIN HASH LIST NFT COLLECTION
To list an NFT Collection in Magic Eden, we will need to have its hash list, the list of mint identifiers of all the NFTs that belong to the collection.
We start by looking for the ID of any NFT belonging to the collection we want to list. Throughyour wallet access the NFT inside your wallet. Click on the 3 dots at the top right and then click on "View in Solscan".
When we are in solscan, we will click on the "Creators" dropdown. Then, we click on the first address, which will have a 0%.
This address is the ID of the NFT collection. It will be opened into solscan, and we must copy it.
Once the ID has been copied, it is time to access Magic Eden's "Hash List Finder" tool. We paste the ID in the main box and click the "Get Hash List" button. Remember to check the Open Creator Protocol option if you use this protocol.
We have to wait for the tool to give us our complete hash list.
When you have completed the process, copy the entire hash list from start to finish, remember not to leave anything out.
Finally, paste it into the corresponding hash list section in the Magic Eden Creators Hub.
REVIEW AND FINISH
After clicking on Review, we will open the last section in which we will finalize the listing. You must only check that all the information is correct and click "Submit" to complete the process.

Hello Horacio. While the Magic Eden platform is completely unrelated to us, we created this guide to provide information regarding NFT minting. The process may seem rigorous, but by following the instructions you can do it. If you have found it difficult, you can always watch our video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2r6SMzzsuhk where we do the same as in this guide. We try to make it all the way more enjoyable.
