How to Create a Blast Liquidity Pool on Uniswap (2 Best Options)
If you want to create a Uniswap liquidity pool for a token on Blast, here’s the quick and simple breakdown.
Uniswap is a decentralized exchange (DEX) widely used across multiple EVM-compatible blockchains, including Blast. With Uniswap, you can create a liquidity pool for any compatible token, giving users a decentralized place to buy and sell your token.
There are two ways to launch a liquidity pool on Uniswap, and I’ll walk you through both below.
Options for Creating a Liquidity Pool for Token on Uniswap on Blast
You have 2 options: use the dApp Create Blast Liquidity Pool from Smithii or go directly through Uniswap. Our interface is simpler and audited, so it is the one we recommend. Below, we break down both options.
1. Create a Liquidity Pool on Uniswap on the Blast Blockchain with Smithii
Open the Create Liquidity Pool on Blast tool, choose the Blast blockchain, and connect your preferred wallet.

- Connect your wallet in the Create Liquidity Pool on Blast dApp
- Choose the “Base Token” (for example, $WETH, $USDT, $USDC, etc.)
- Choose the “Quote Token”. This is the token you want to list on the market.
- Add liquidity: select the amounts of Base Token and Quote Token you want to pair. This sets the initial price of your token.
- Click “Create Liquidity Pool” and confirm the transactions in your wallet.
In a few seconds, your Blast Liquidity Pool will be live on Uniswap. Creating a liquidity pool on Smithii costs 0.001 ETH + gas.

2. Create a Token Liquidity Pool on Uniswap on the Blast Blockchain
To start creating our liquidity pool, go straight to the Uniswap app and connect your wallet. From the main menu, select “Pools” (make sure you choose the Blast network from the dropdown).
In this section, you can manage the liquidity pools you have already created and also create a new liquidity pool on Uniswap.
Click the “Add Liquidity” button to start the process.

2.1 Create a Token Pair on Uniswap
To create your liquidity pool, start by creating a token pair. First, choose the token with dollar-denominated value, such as USDT or WETH.
Next, select your token by copying and pasting the token address into the search bar. You may see a warning if this is the first liquidity pool ever created for that token.
2.2. Select the fee for your liquidity pool
Choose the fee percentage charged on each transaction in the liquidity pool. On Uniswap, the recommended option is 0.3%.
2.3. Set the starting price and price range
Since this is the first time you are creating a pool with this token pair, you will need to set the starting price, which is the initial exchange price for users. You also need to define the price range where you want the pool to remain active.
2.4. Deposit liquidity
After setting the price range, deposit liquidity for the token pair in the amount you consider enough for smooth trading.
Final Thoughts
You basically have two options: use a tool like Smithii directly, or handle it step by step on Uniswap. Both are valid. It comes down to what you’re most comfortable with.
