WHAT IS MAGIC EDEN DROP CALENDAR

Drop Calendar, also called Upcoming Drops, is a section of Magic Eden where we can see the mint that will take place soon. Basically, it is a kind of ordered calendar in the form of a list with the information of projects that will make their mint.

You're probably wondering how much it costs to be listed here. The reality is that appearing in Drop Calendar is totallyfree. All you have to do is follow the steps below.

In addition, by doing the listing process in the drop calendar, you will save yourself from having to list your collection again in Magic Eden, as you will only need to add the hash list of your NFT collection.

HOW TO LIST NFT COLLECTION IN DROP CALENDAR MAGIC EDEN

The process of listing in drop calendar is similar to the process of listing your collection in the marketplace. The main difference is that you are in the pre-mint phase.

We start directly with the process from your magiceden.io website.

1. ACCESS THE CREATORS SECTION OF MAGIC EDEN

To start, open the "Creators" section of the left menu and click on "Apply for Listing".

This will open the Magic Eden Creators Hub. There we can log in and list the collection in the drop calendar. To log in, enter your email address. You will receive a message from magic eden through which you can complete the login.

Inside the Creators Hub we will see severalsections.

2. ADD INFORMATION ABOUT OUR COLLECTION

In the Creators Hub, we should start "creating the NFT collection". Click on the "Create a New Collection" button.

A new page will open with the different steps and necessary information; let's start.

2.1. INTRODUCTION

In the first section, called "introduction" we must indicate which blockchain our collection belongs to; currently Magic Eden supports the Solana collection list, as other blockchains it has are automatically listed.

We must also select if we are the authors of the artwork in the collection or have the license to use it.

Since you haven't made your mint yet, you don't have to select the Metaplex option, just continue.

2.2. COLLECTION

In this section, we only have to indicate the Name of the Collection and the symbol.

The symbol is the term that will appear in the URL of our collection in the marketplace, if we put "SMITHII", the url will be: magiceden.io/marketplace/SMITHII.

Continue by clicking on "Save & Proceed".

2.3. DETAILS

We continue to provide more information about our collection. In this case, we will indicate the description that will appear on the collection page (we recommend something brief but that let it clear what your NFT collection is about).

Next is the profile picture. Make it as eye-catching as possible; using the image of an NFT from your collection can be a good idea if you don't have a logo.

Next, select whether your artwork is a derivative of any other existing NFT collection or not.

We continue with the collection category, currently, this is quite irrelevant.

And to finish this section, we have to mention the social networks. We must link our Twitter account, which must have at least 100 followers, indicate the link to our discord and a webpage if we have one (it is highly recommended).

2.3. HASH LIST - APPLY FOR LISTING

We continue with the last step of the tutorial. Let's look at it as a separate part.

3. HASH LIST OF THE NFT COLLECTION

In our case, as we are in a phase prior to the mint, we do not have to complete all the information, however, we will explain how you can then list your collection once you have minted.

Then we choose "review (not approval for listing)" and themintdate. Once this is done, we will go to the last step where we will see the summary of the information to confirm it.

When you have done this, you will have to wait for Magic Eden to accept your request. If they approve your request it will appear in the "Reviewed" section and automatically be listed in the Drop Calendar section with the information indicated. You can search for it by going to your mint date.

LIST COLLECTION IN MAGIC EDEN

When you have finished the mint you will be able to list your NFT collection in the Magic Eden marketplace. To do this you will have to go back to your previousapplication and add the hash list of your collection.
