What is Web3? Concept and objectives

Web3 is the third generation of the internet, built on blockchain technology to support a fully decentralized ecosystem. Its main goal is to return control to users, giving way to dApps, DAO, DeFi and other applications that promote digital ownership.

In Web3 there are no intermediaries or companies that keep users' data. Instead, the information is stored in a decentralized network of computers. In this way, every individual owns the digital assets stored in his or her Wallet (cryptocurrencies and NFT).

In turn, it is the users themselves who provide the integrity and security of the network through validators and protocols such as PoS.

In Web3, the token serves as the voting mechanism for users of future projects and protocols.
